transcript of an actual honest-to-goodness scam communication

I seem to get a lot of scam communications. I think I’m on the GOM (Gullible Old Men) List published annually by the National Scammers Association.

Here is the transcript of a recent attempted scam via text messaging. The pretext was that the scammer was trying to contact someone and used my number by mistake. The rest of the exchange is unedited and presented exactly as it was written — complete with garbled syntax and punctuation— by someone apparently not totally familiar with English. Scammer comments are in bold and my responses are in italics. Annotations are added to three comments.
