God told me to comment on this article. Therefore, two comments:

1) You have to be pretty full of yourself to tell others that God told you to do some great thing.

2) Some unimportant people use a supposed message from God merely to feel important. After all, if you say "God told me such-and-such" or "God told me to tell you" then you are citing the highest authority in the universe. Very convenient, if you're looking for instant credibility.
