Billy Graham preached passionately about Jesus Christ, who was a Jew. Anti-Semitic attitudes in the name of Jesus make no sense because Jesus was a Jew. I get the historical and theological side of the argument: the Jewish elite rejected Jesus as the Messiah, had him crucified, and Jews continue to reject him as Messiah to this day. But it still makes no sense to hate Jews in the name of a Jew who preached love towards everyone, including Jews. The "Jews killed Jesus" argument is really just a cover for hatred of a people who are 1) different, 2) often financially successful (although there are obviously poor Jews), 3) have maintained their identity over millennia, and 4) have made a remarkable number of contributions to science and the arts. In other words, envy and fear of Jewish domination and/or manipulation.

As with prejudice towards Blacks or any other group, anti-semitism makes zero sense. It is just another example of how humans are irrational creatures.
