Amy Carlson was not a Kentucky Jesus. She was a Colorado Jesus, with time also spent in Oregon, California, Florida and Hawaii. She died in Oregon and her body was transported by her acolytes back to Crestone, Colorado, where it was found by authorities in rather dismal condition wrapped in Christmas lights.

Carlson's cult sought the help of "spiritual ambassadors", most of whom were deceased celebrities from the past 40-50 years, one of whom was Rodney Dangerfield.

Some former cult members still live in the Crestone area, but they don't get no respect. No respect at all.
